It may be a new year, but you can still depend on Cincinnati Surgical to be a manufacturer that provides you with consistent, quality products and customer service. Our world class manufacturing facility continues to produce more than 1.5 million blades every day. Each of those scalpel blades are still visually inspected twice to ensure zero defects.

For more than 80 years we’ve serviced the Medical, Veterinary, Dental, Laboratory, Scientific, Funeral and Beauty markets with no disruption in the process. You can count on the product being available and producing consistent results each and every time it is used.

Quality Manufacturing

You know our production facility is top notch when it comes to blade manufacturing since the Discovery Channel chose to feature it as part of its “How It’s Made” series.  The series is now a part of the Science Channel.  At the time of production the Discovery Channel featured only the best of the best manufacturing facilities, regardless of the product being made.  For surgical scalpel blades the producers chose our Sheffield England facility.

Want to see a little bit of the behind the scenes action?  Check out “How Scalpels Are Made.”  Once you’ve watched the video we think you might look at the surgical blade you’re using a little differently.
